Hazardous & Regulated Substances
The Mail Center
Etc. DOES NOT accept or process hazardous material shipments.
Federal Department
of Transportation legislation requires any package with a Hazardous Materials label,
signage or other wording contain exactly what is described.
This requirement
applies to both new and recycled or reused shipping containers.
Carriers inspect all packages for compliance —
NO EXCEPTIONS!.
Shippers who use
mislabeled packages can be subject to stiff fines.
Carriers strongly
recommend all shipments, regardless of content, be sent in NEW packaging material.
The Mail Center, Etc. does not sell, recycle or reuse boxes.
Carriers can - and will -
deny damage claims on packages improperly packed.
Still Insist On Shipping A Reused
Box?

Reused packaging and boxes are only acceptable when
all markings and labels are removed or completely blotted out.
Regardless of what is actually inside your package,
markings for hazardous materials may result in delivery delays, package return
or fines.
We cannot
mark out, cover or remove warnings for you!

The Mail
Center, Etc. will not accept recycled or reused packages from customers that
are improperly labeled or marked.

Boxes that contained
aerosol cans, flammables, corrosives, and regulated liquids ALWAYS require
documentation and hazardous materials Warning Labels.
It is difficult,
if not impossible, to completely cover the manufacturer's markings. These
boxes should not be reused or recycled!
